Raj + Leslie’s Banff Springs Indian Wedding

Luxurious, colorful and lively is how Banff Wedding Photographer, Sean LeBlanc Photography would describe Raj and Leslie’s incredible Cascade Ballroom Banff Springs Indian wedding. Raj and Leslie live in New York City but decided to get married at the famous Fairmont Banff Springs Hotel nestled in the heart of Banff National Park. The Manhattanites invited over 200 of their closest friends and family and the incredible team of Lynn Fletcher Weddings to plan their traditional Indian wedding. The celebration began with the Sangeet the night before their wedding which included a variety of dances and speeches from close family members. We snuck outside for some dusk portraits.
The next morning the celebration began early in the morning with Raj taking a Horse and Carriage to the front terrace of the hotel. The weather was perfect. Raj was greeted with traditional Indian music and family and friends dancing in celebration. It was awesome! Everyone was smiling. Afterwards, Raj was escorted by his mom and Aunt along with other family members to a Groom ceremony which was held on the back terrace of the hotel overlooking the golf course and mountain range. Then the Bride processional began. There were two ceremonies which took place, a traditional Hindu wedding ceremony and civil ceremony. Afterwards, we jumped into a car and drove out to beautiful Lake Minnewanka and Mount Norquay stopping along the way for wedding portraits. Before we knew it, we were back at the Banff Springs for the reception. Lynn led Raj and Leslie into the reception for a room reveal. The décor was absolutely stunning with incredible floral center pieces. The reception for Raj and Leslie’s Banff Springs Indian Wedding included more dance performances, touching speeches and a rocking fun dance party to end the night.
